Knowing Christ and Making Him Known.
Adult ministries can help us live out the truth of God’s Word with one another and the community around us.
"Knowing Christ and Making Him Known" demands not only a scriptural and theological literacy, but also a willing adherence to Christ's commands. The ministries of Addison Congregational reflect our basic need of biblical instruction and provide us with the opportunity to live out the truth of God's Word with one another and the community around us.
School of the Local Church
Our Adult Sunday School presents in-depth studies in books of the Bible and theological doctrines that are accessible and relevant to all church members. Pastor Kevin provides the instruction.
Recharge is our Wednesday night teaching fellowship. We meet every other week at 6:30 p.m. for an hour of spiritual nourishment to keep us going during the week!
There are small groups that meet regularly throughout the month. Each group spends time in God's Word and in fellowship.
Every Sunday after the worship service the congregation gathers for a time of fellowship and refreshments in our fellowship hall. It is a wonderful chance to catch up with one another and make new friends. We occasionally stay for pot-luck luncheons after church, and on Easter morning we meet for a congregational breakfast before service.
